It’s time for us to flourish in our practices with the Great Yoga Wall and do it safely.
What mainstream media says yoga looks like needs to be set aside. With the Great Yoga Wall, we can move beyond what we thought our practice could be to find: deeper releases in the postures, better alignment and form regardless of your ability or what your body looks like, more physical benefits, and profound joy.
It’s time for us to feel stronger, safer, and more inspired in our practices.
It’s time for us to experience the profound relief that intelligent use of the Great Yoga Wall provides.
It’s time for us to play in our practices in brighter, less fearful, and more expansive ways.
Ways that sustain us as yoga practitioners, teachers, and heart-centered humans in the world.
Here’s the honest truth: sometimes you just can’t get the physical release that you crave on your own. You have to experience something different.
And We’ve got just what you’ve been searching for…
You’ve found yourself on this page for a reason.
Maybe you’ve been a part of the Great Yoga Wall or Wellness With Tami Inc. communities for a while. Perhaps you just bought your wall and found the training link on the company website. Maybe a friend told you about the Great Yoga Wall or you saw it at a studio.
No matter how you got here, it’s not by accident.
You’re here because you want to discover the foundations for working with the Great Yoga Wall safely.
You’re here because you’re hungry to learn more about what’s possible with the Great Yoga Wall and what NOT to do so you can prevent injury.
You’re here because you crave the ability to adjust and modify for different bodies, minds, abilities, and levels with the Great Yoga Wall.
You’re here because you want to know how long to hold the poses for optimal releases in the postures, often deeper than you can get by yourself on your mat.
You’re here because you’re thirsty to integrate the Great Yoga Wall into your practice and sequences effectively.
You’re here because you yearn for the stability of a “partner” you can trust when there’s no one else around.
You’re here because you know that the Great Yoga Wall is so much more than just a trendy prop.
You’re here because you want to have and/or share the fantastic feelings that come when you enliven and expand your practice with the Great Yoga Wall.
And that’s what this official Great Yoga Wall Level 1 training is all about.
I’m inviting you to be a part of an incredible group of yoga practitioners who are ready to ditch uncertainty about how to use the Great Yoga Wall safely and confidently, to embrace the support, relief, and joy that the Great Yoga Wall offers. To become a Great Yoga Wall Luminary.
In this Level 1 training, together we’re going to help your practice flourish with the Great Yoga Wall.
I first started working with the Great Yoga Wall in 2006, and its appearance literally changed my life.
What I learned in my time studying with and assisting the father of Great Yoga Wall training, Bryan Legere, as well as by integrating the Great Yoga Wall into my own practice and teaching, has completely blown my mind around what’s possible—physically and beyond—when we use the Great Yoga Wall in safe and joyful ways.
I’ll share these remarkable techniques and memorable experiences with you in the Great Yoga Wall Level 1 training.
And I’ll be learning and growing right alongside you too because, as we all know, yoga is a journey, and the more I share the joy of the Great Yoga Wall, the deeper the embodiment of my learning as well.
Here’s what completing Great Yoga Wall Level 1 training will do for you:
This training is a time where we’ll come together to discover and experience how we can use the Great Yoga Wall to thrive in our practices in ways we never even knew possible. With support, safety, and fun.
Mainstream media has turned yoga into an exercise and fitness trend, and in some spaces, has taught us that we just can’t do certain poses if our bodies don’t look or move in certain ways. We end up sticking with what’s easy, convinced that we’re incapable, and losing out on some of the benefits of our practices because we think we can’t do certain things. Deep down, there’s a part of us that knows there’s another way.
There is. It includes:
Learning how to work safely and confidently with the safest, strongest, most reliable “partner” ever—the Great Yoga Wall.
Simplifying the complexities of using the Great Yoga Wall in postures you already know and making modifications for different bodies, minds, abilities, and levels.
Holding the poses an appropriate amount of time—with the support of the Great Yoga Wall—to find deeper releases and more physical benefits.
Strengthening your awareness of proper alignment and adjustments in poses from all categories, based on how the Great Yoga Wall works with the mechanics of the poses, as well as what NOT to do.
Discovering how to integrate the Great Yoga Wall into sequences and practices.
Awakening, honoring, and rejuvenating your body, energy, and practice in a way that encourages them to flourish in new and profound ways.
Remembering your courage and strength to try new things.
Tapping into the mental and emotional benefits and joy of being able to do something you thought you couldn’t do.
And, we get to hang out—literally!
I’m Tami Robinson, a yoga therapist, life-long student of yoga, author, wife, and coach to people who want to feel rested, focused, and inspired again.
We’ll get to know each other more in the Great Yoga Wall Level 1 training, and you can ask me your stickiest Yoga Wall questions. I’m here for you as a fellow yogi, practicing alongside you, finding relief and inspiration with the Great Yoga Wall.
From taking Great Yoga Wall training multiple times and spending more than a thousand hours in classes and teacher training with Bryan Legere, the father of the official Great Yoga Wall trainings, to assisting Bryan in the intensives, to modeling for the manual, to integrating Wall work into my own practice, to using it with my therapeutic clients and running multiple sold out Yoga Wall workshops…I’m honored to share what I’ve learned.
You can enliven and expand your practice and feel the profound relief of the Great Yoga Wall. But you can’t do it safely without learning the fundamentals of how to work with the Great Yoga Wall. It’s time to experience the joy the Great Yoga Wall offers and let your practice thrive.
Our time together continues after the weekend with these bonuses.
Ever feel like you forget half of what you learned at an intensive or workshop when you walk out the door?
Bonus 1: One-hour virtual group coaching session
As a bonus, you’ll have the opportunity to gather and ask me whatever questions surface after you’ve gone home and started integrating the Great Yoga Wall into your own practice.
This is an opportunity not usually available unless you have a relationship with the teacher that gave the workshop and can go to their regular classes.
You’ll be able to submit your questions ahead of time, and I’ll answer as many as we can get through in the hour, with demos as needed, during our Zoom meeting.
If there are no questions, we’ll complete a practice that integrates the Great Yoga Wall into a sequence, so you can experience how the yoga wall enhances and deepens what you’re already practicing.
Bonus 2: Private COMMUNITY
What you put your attention on grows.
Share your wins and a-ha moments, ask each other questions, and stay connected after this special weekend together in our private community.
The more you engage with each other about your Great Yoga Wall discoveries, the better you will embody what you learned to become the Great Yoga Wall Luminary you want to be.
I’ll be in there as well, available to answer questions, offer up tips and give you some inspiration to keep exploring all that the Great Yoga Wall offers.
Some of my closest friends have come from workshops like this one. When you experience something so deep and fun together, staying in touch helps you reconnect to that joy.
We could all use the deep relief and joy the Great Yoga Wall offers. It’s time.
On some level we share the need and desire to open our bodies, release tension, and experience fun. It’s what helps us get through the rest of life.

About your teachers and Great Yoga Wall Training
Bryan Legere was born to develop Great Yoga Wall training. He began studying yoga in the mid-1970s, and became a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher at the Intermediate Junior 3 level. He started running yoga teacher training programs in the mid-1990s, and in 1994, became a member of the National Iyengar Certification Committee. He participated in and ran Iyengar certification tests throughout the U.S.
Bryan’s immersion in the Iyengar tradition led him to a rich and rewarding relationship with the Palkhivala brothers, first Aadil and then Jehangir. Through his studies with Jehangir Palkhivala, Bryan came to deepen his practice and embodiment of the teachings of the ancient texts, the Mother of Pondicherry, and Sri Aurobindo.
Bryan studied in India several times with the Iyengar and Palkhivala families, and lived his yoga through his dedicated practice and teaching.
As co-owner of the Great Yoga Wall company, Bryan recognized the need to establish a training program that emphasized the importance of taking time to integrate the Great Yoga Wall into your own practice before you offer it to others. He designed this training to focus on learning how to use the Great Yoga Wall safely in your own practice, regardless of whether you teach or not.
Bryan—the father of the Great Yoga Wall training—created two levels of training intensives, as well as shorter workshops, to deepen your understanding of how to use the Great Yoga Wall beyond what you would ever explore in a regular class.
Upon his passing in 2019, the Great Yoga Wall company asked me to carry on his legacy of high-quality training in North America.
I’m Tami Robinson, the founder of Wellness with Tami Inc., and I’ve been practicing yoga and meditation since I was a child. I credit the Great Yoga Wall for inspiring me to start teaching in 2006. After taking the Great Yoga Wall Level 1 and 2 trainings with Bryan, I moved across the country to apprentice with and earn 200 and 500-hour teacher training certificates from him. I assisted Bryan in the Great Yoga Wall intensives numerous times, and modeled for the manual.
Through Bryan I found my teacher, Jehangir Palkhivala, who offers a deeper exploration and embodied experience of yoga, its roots, and philosophy. For three years, I also studied with and assisted Gabriel Halpern, who Yoga Journal named one of the most influential teachers in the U.S. for his hands-on yoga therapy program, modeled after the Iyengar therapeutic classes in Pune, India.
I hold the highest certification from Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500), as well as certification from the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). I also earned certification as an Associate Integral Coach from Integral Coaching Canada. I feel deeply blessed to be a part of these unique lineages, and am focused on supporting evolving professionals (like you!) to feel rested, focused and inspired out of my home base in Charlotte, North Carolina.
I’m committed to helping you feel the inspiration and joy that the Great Yoga Wall offers. To flourish as a Great Yoga Wall Luminary.
I’m so happy you’re here, and am thrilled to work with you.
